Chiropractic Care
Personalised Care That Starts With Listening
Pain or restricted movement can affect far more than one area of the body. It can make work, exercise, sleep, family time and ordinary daily tasks more difficult. At Revive Chiropractic, care begins with a conversation about what you are experiencing, how it is affecting your life and what you would like to be able to do more comfortably. Chiropractic care focuses on the relationship between the spine, joints, muscles and nervous system.
People commonly visit a chiropractor to discuss back or neck discomfort, headaches, sciatica, stiffness, reduced mobility, numbness or tingling, sprains and strains, or pain associated with work, sport and everyday activity. Because similar symptoms can have different causes, Dr Rachel Nelson does not rely on a one-size-fits-all approach.
What to Expect
Your first visit gives Dr Nelson an opportunity to learn about your health history, current concern, lifestyle and goals. An examination may be used to assess posture, movement, mobility and the areas involved. She will explain what she finds, answer your questions and discuss whether chiropractic care is appropriate for you. If another form of assessment or care is more suitable, that will also be discussed.
Chiropractic Care for Different Stages of Life
Dr Nelson has experience caring for patients from newborns through to older adults, including families, athletes, working professionals and expectant mothers. Techniques and recommendations are adapted to the patient’s age, comfort, health history and clinical needs. You will be encouraged to ask questions and take an active role in decisions about your care.
